German WWII black leather wrapper. This is the one worn by Waffen-SS men in 1944-1945, seen in period photos waering these on the western front. Black leather, which is still soft, the overall wrapper shows light age, I believe it's from storage, but looks like it was worn. The cut is the same as wool SS wrappers. Double row of black buttons, with a single black button at each cuff. No pockets. Inside you can see an inner waist band of an off white leather and a partial liner in tan which has very faint makers stamps. There is a section of the thread loose at the back of the neck at the collar seem, about 2 inches, but does not stand out. These are often sold with SS shoulderboards, and the SS sleeve eagle on them by dealers over the years and the last one sold for $6500. The stamps are often thought to be of a Czech maker, and warehoused and never issued. Some have claimed Kreigsmarine wear, then used by the Waffen-SS. Very nice!
NOTE: I will be listing the leather matching trousers shortly.
