German WWII SA tunic. This is a wartime made SA tunic.  It's in excellent shape and shows little use.  Brown wool, four pocket design, the tunic has silver matching pebbled buttons the reverse are size marked only.  Tunic has machine sewn collar tabs, white piped with green base, the number tab is 15/30 and the rank tab has two silver pips for NCO rank.  The shoudlerboards are sewn into the sleeves and these are the rarer Black based shoulderboards for pioneer troops within the SA.  There were very few SA pioneer troops during the war.  One of the shoulderboards has the paper RZM tag underneath.  In 1941, SA pioneer troops no longer wore the metal pick and shovel on their collar tabs, but instead used the base color of the shoulderboard to denote the branch.  Loops for one award on the pocket.  There is a fully sewn party armband in wool on the sleeve.  The liner is the goldish color rayon and has a size stamp "50" in the middle and a Late style RZM tag in the pocket.  The only issue with the tunic are the front button holes, some loose threads and a few period repairs to the button hole stiching.  No mothing or damage.
