German WWII HBT summer combat tunic. This one's been well worn and has a been-there look to it. Army (HEER) combat HBT material tunic. Green cotton HBT, the tunic show lots of wear and many period repairs to it. M43 style, the tunic has the standard HEER collar tabs sewn to it. On the front is the later style breast eagle, machine sewn to the tunic, and some loose threads. It has wool with white piping shoulderboards, white for infantry. The shoulderboards show the same wear as the tunic does. There the slip on style. The tunic has steel, green painted pebbled buttons held on with the metal "S" rings for easy removal. This tunic has lots of use and wear to it, and you can see where the collar folds over. It has been field repaired to the fold over, it looks like it wore through and was sewn heavy to fix it. Some wear and repairs to the edge of each suff as well. Inside the liner is the typical rayon and shows use and some satins. No markings I can see but based on wear and lots of sun and sweat, I am sure they're long gone.
