RARE SA Feldherrenhalle Tunic and Trousers
German Wartime SA uniform for Feldherrenhalle. This is a rare uniform, and is complete with the tunic and matching trousers. Brown SA wool tunic, open lapel style. This tunic has the wartime issued FHH tabs on the collar, Crimson base with white piping to each, the metal FHH device is on one and the other has two sliver pips. The shoulderboards are both sewn in, and are the standard SA foot soldiers style with a gray base and the brown and silver "V"s on the top cord. There is a paper RZM tag underneath one of the shoulderboards. The tunic has matching silver smoother pebbled buttons used by the SA and are RZM marked on the backs.
This tunic is VERY UNIQUE in that the man who wore it was also in the military. There is an Iron Cross II ribbon to the button hole, and loops for two awards on the pocket. Very often as soldiers were no longer fit to fight, they went back to their former vocation. This soldier was an SA man before the war as well as during the war. Being a member of the FHH was a honor as well. On the sleeve is the standard wool party armband, and below on the cuff is the FHH cufftitle. The liner is the golish rayon material and inside the pocket is the SA RZM tag. The tunic is MINT!
The trousers are SA issue and are also mint. Same brown wool, these are the flared style, and feature inside the SA RZM tag as well. There is a size stamp inside "46". It is a consignment item.
