German WWII Drivers badge in Bronze.  This is the emblem or badge that was worn on the left sleeve near the cuff and was awarded for Drivers of motor vehicles, including motorcycles during the war.  This is the 3rd class version in Bronze, then there was Silver and finally Gold versions.  This Bronze version is on green/gray wool oval and has the original backing plate.  It appears the two hold down tabs on back were at one time soldered back onto the medal and you can see the dark spots on the front.  This was period done in the field.
