German WWII Kriegsmarine Collani or "peacoat". Issue KM coat is made of a Darkblue heavy wool. Open neck style has gold Kriegsmarine buttons down the front, most are dated 1940, a few 1941. Tunic has the issue Light blue collar tabs sewn on. On the front are loops for two medals and in the button hole is the Iron Cross second class ribbon. On the sleeve are the rank chevron for a Oberstabsgefreiter. Above that is the patch for Bootsmann which is basically service at sea or line service. The rade patch is for an Artillery mechanics career. Coat is in excellent condition and show light use and I see no mothing or damage. Fully linned with a rayon material the sleeves are also fully linned and there is a faint stamp in the upper sleeve area, but very hard to read. This coat has the man's name tag sewn into the linner near the neck.
