German WWII Army officers tunic. This is the Army's "Walking out" tunic used for semi dress use. Large size, its a fine quality twill wool. Tunic is the standard four pocket, but has White piping for Infantry on the collar, cuffs, and down the front. Has sew-in shoulderboards, Infantry piped for a Hauptmann (Captain) with Gilt Numbers "49" on each and two gilt pips. Dress collar tabs are also white based. The eagle is a Silver wire bullion style. Loops for two medals and a small ribbon bar. Liner is full and has the dagger hanger and tailors tag, tunic is not named. There is light moth wear on the front, and on the cuff, see the photos, its minor but there. Nice large size!
