Imperial German Tunic and Visor set. A fantastic set and in excellent condition for its age! This is a Jager tunic belonging to Kurhessisches Jager-Battalion Number 11, XII Armee Korps, Marburg. Tunic is clean, shows pretty much no use or wear and was most likely not worn. Medium to dark green wool, has Red collar and Cuffs with Brass polished buttons. Sew-in shoulderboards Red topped with Yellow Cypher and Kaisers Crown for Jager-Batt 11. The Brass button #2 on each as well. All buttons are original to this tunic! Fully lined in Black, with and inner buckle belt set. No markings inside, the back has the normal red piped flaps and Brass buttons. There is NO mothing or damage to the tunic and you wont find better for 100+ years old. The visor cap is also for a Jager, Medium Green top with Black band and Red piping. Cap has a Black bill and the emblem is for a Reservist. Brown Oilcloth sweatband, shows its age a little and full cloth liner, cap shows no use as well, matching the tunic. Cap has one ot two moth nips on it thats all, and is in excellent condition. About a 56 size cap. This set is top notch!
German Imperial Visor cap. Blue wool top finer black capband, maybe NCO. Red piped. Cap has the short bill in Black. Visor has the national cockade and the cockade for Baden. The liner is a DarkTan or Brown Oilcloth and is unmarked. Brown leather sweatband has a unique Stamp into the leather band with the Kaisers Crown and emblem and the state shield. A section of the band is missing on one side by about 3 inches. Cap still has the paper size tag on the sweatband 56. The cap shows mothing to the lower part of the cap band. You can see the cardboard edging, its been mothed all around this bottom. A nip in the red piping and a few nips to the top. Not as good shape as the others for sale, but has a unique stamp in the band.
Unissued Imperial German visor. This ones MINT and Unissued!!! RARE to find for a cap this old. Black and black wool top and cap band with red piping. Has MINT national cockade and MINT Wurttemberg cockade. Bill is excellent as well and even still has the size stamp in pencil 54. Liner is oilcloth top and MINT, MINT Tan leathersweatband. You WONT find a better shape cap!
Imperial German Enlisted or NCO visor cap. Blue wool top has NO mothing, very clean! Red cap band shows two small nips, red piped. Has the short black visor or bill. Cap has the National cockade and the cockade for Wurttemberg. Brown leather sweatband is still soft and in great shape. Full tan cloth liner has silver makers shield and D.R.G.M. stamped inside. Nice cap and very clean. Size is small, maybe 54-55.
Imperial German Visor cap. Early 1900's Imperial visor cap. Blue wool body shows light use and no mothing, a moth nip to the top, but small. Red band and Red piping. Black Visor or bill is in good shape, the cap does not look like it was worn much. Has the National cockade and the State cockade for Wurttemberg. The sweatband is oil cloth and still soft but has light flaking to the oil cloth which is typical for its age. Full liner in tan cloth, really nice makers name and stamp and has the Regt. stamp as well off to the side. A nice clean cap.
